Veteran's Day

Every year, more and more reasons to be grateful to our veterans appear. They are our neighbors, our parents, and our children, and they've defended us from some of the most implacable foes that have ever bestrode the earth. Our veterans have fought clearly defined enemies, and foes who masquerade as ordinary citizens. They have suffered the heat of the day, the cold of the night, hours of boredom and hours of chaos, the throes of disease and the pangs of homesickness.

To all our nation's veterans, I extend my thanks for your service to our great nation.
