Preparing for Thanksgiving

When we think about what we have, we have a choice as to what thoughts follow. We may have enough to make us feel proud, so little as to make us feel angry. Whether we have much or little, we may covet what another has. We often want to justify these feelings and think about them long afterwards. If we instead choose to put them away, and crowd them out with thoughts of gratitude towards God, then we will find ourselves more nearly like Him. When about to be betrayed by humanity, Jesus thanked God for bread.

We're approaching a time where we can refocus our thoughts on gratitude, and remember that God gives us good things. We don't always have answers, but we do have undeserved blessings. We can thank God, our good Father, through Jesus, who gives us the best gift - Himself.
